Living History Tour at Prospect Hill Cemetery.

As one of the lead organizers on the project, Paw Paw saw its first highly successful living history tour.

Responsibilities:

  • Select characters who were influential in the community and most buried in the cemetery. We had 9.

  • Research and write the biographies

  • Create scripts

  • Recruit performers and put together costumes

  • Clean tombstones

  • Seek out volunteers

  • Develop logistics

Using Omeka.net to create this site, I described each image or artifact using Dublin Core. Omeka is so intuitive and can be used to create beautiful, accessible collections or special exhibits.

This is one of my all time favorite children’s books. It was a lot of fun using animoto to create the book trailer.
